Heart space Heaviness

How long has it been? Once new, once open and soft has been barely holding on

Fresh start… overgrown. Heart felt… only noticed…if that

Unrecognized…jumbled… mess

How heartily we cry our opinion and express our years of knowledge

Only to understand that we had the knowledge first, before we knew, before we learned

How innocent we were. Knowing all

LISTEN

Children have this instinct that we as adults have lost. They know our mood before we do and they read the subtle clues that we have not seen. Looking back at raising my children I realize how much I missed when I did not listen. As I gently learn how to listen to my heart I can see how much easier my life can be by opening my heart to the knowledge of my intuition. As October comes to a close another course is on the horizon. I can be gentle on my heart by listening to it and relax my mind and let my heart do the work it was meant to do.
